- Abstract (maximum 500 words)
Integrate the web 2.0 in the Wikipedia experience. This would enable amalgamation of information from various sources on the Internet.
Adding to wikipedia article can be made more user friendly with mashups. Most importantly the pages must be made dynamic allowing users to have an option of viewing edits made in the wiki article in realtime.
Very often we come across content on various blogs, we need to be able to share a part of the content and paste it to the appropriate wikipedia article. ( Just like "Share" button for the social networking sites ). This is primarily because , writing(typing)takes up time, and priority would be to share information with minimum effort.
A very common method would be using RSS/ATOM feeds , articles can be kept up-to-date.
Im thinking about developing applications/web browser extensions that would make adding to a wikipedia article possible with a few clicks. By doing so, the number of wikipedia contributers (in the form of articles) can be increased.
Possible sources of information could be: News articles, blogs,Photo sharing websites (like, Flickr)!
