Abstract (maximum 500 words)

I would like to put forward a suggestion to embed Infographic Input Tools for easing the information display on various Wikipedia articles. Many times, certain articles on Wikipedia consist majorly of statistical and numerical information. Having a built-in pie-chart generator or XY / Bar graph generator can be most useful to represent data instead of writing long paragraph texts. Apart from this, Infographs such as Flowcharts, Scale and Labels, Venn Diagrams, Bubble, etc. can summarize the entire article in a simple easy-to-read graphic. Having a WYSIWYG type generator on Wikipedia's editor will surely help in simplifying information. Afterall, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Slides or further information (optional)

Some dedicated contributors already take efforts to create visual charts of information with the help of popular presentation programs such as MS Powerpoint. Having an option to create these on Wikipedia itself will encourage even more authors to make information visuals for their articles. Many AJAX based tools are available on internet to make this project possible on Wikipedia platform. tI look forward to present tips on making visually appealing Infographics in various forms for data such as timeline of events, numeric chart, distribution / share chart, etc.
