editThe complete program of the event is available here. Please be aware that sessions and rooms may change, any change will be reflected and announced on that page.
Check-in
editArrive at David Brower Center between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM PST on November 27, 2018. Pick up your name badge, get oriented, and enjoy some coffee and tea. Please try to arrive as early as you can in that window, as we will be checking in all 100+ attendees that morning.
Note: Breakfast will not be available at David Brower Center.
Social events
editWikiCite Social (November 28)
editWe will be hosting a social event for all attendees at Wednesday November 28, starting at 6:30pm at Cornerstone (2367 Shattuck Avenue). When you check-in you will receive a ticket for the social event. The venue is a short walk from David Brower Center.
Visiting the Internet Archive (November 30)
editFor those of you who are still in the Bay Area after the event, our friends at the Internet Archive are organizing a lunch and visit at their iconic headquarters in San Francisco's Richmond District (300 Funston Avenue) on Friday November 30. Catered team-meeting lunch starts at noon followed by a guided tour at 1pm. Lunch starts promptly at noon so please do not be late. Expect to stay for about 2 hours (feel free to hang out longer if you want!) RSVP by sending an email to info@archive.org by noon on Wednesday November 28.
Friendly space policy
editAs a Wikimedia-hosted event, we’re dedicated to providing a harassment-free venue and conference experience for everyone. Please familiarize yourself with the Friendly Space Policy. Any violation to this policy can be reported in person at the event to the members of the Code-of-Conduct committee or by email at wikicite-coc@wikimedia.org.
Daily menu
editLunch and an afternoon snack will be provided onsite at the David Brower center all three days of WikiCite 2018.

Please Note: Breakfast is not provided at the conference venue. Extra food and sundries can be purchased at nearby locations.
No smoking policy
editThe City of Berkeley prohibits smoking within 25 feet of an entry, window, or air intake. Anyone who wishes to smoke needs to continue moving along the local sidewalks. Learn more about Berkeley's Smoking Ordinance.
Please note: no smoking whatsoever is permitted on the terrace space of the David Brower Center.
Space for nursing mothers
editWe have lockable rooms with showers on the second floor off the Tamalpais room. These rooms have seats and outlets available for use. Please contact a WikiCite 2018 committee member if you would like to use one of these rooms.
Gender neutral restrooms
editGender neutral restrooms will be located on the ground floor of the David Brower Center.
Land Acknowledgement
editAs we participate in this year's Wikicite, we would like to bring your attention to the land we are meeting on today. We are grateful to be here on Ohlone land and we recognize and acknowledge that the Ohlone people were the original stewards of this territory and their ancestors are still buried here.

Lost, stolen, damaged items
edit- Please remember that David Brower Center is a public space with many community members coming and going throughout the day. WikiCite 2018 staff and the David Brower Center are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.
- If a lost item is found, it will be available at the registration desk for pick-up until the end of the conference.
