GLAM-Wiki projects

Abstract ملخص

I will present my experience in diocesan library as a wikipedian in residence since 2015. GLAM Diocesan library is a three partnership project that officially started in 2016. The main goal of this project is to protect and save books that are in public domain and it's through digitization important books especially those who are rare or only exist in few libraries worldwide in order to share them online through Wikicommons and make them more accessible to international redears. I would explain the steps my team and I made in order to achieve our goals to digitize the important books that the library I work in possesses.
