WikiAfrica in Italy has developed a series of initiatives promoted in the frame of WikiAfrica by lettera27 Foundation in collaboration with Wikimedia Italia. Fondazione lettera27 (→w:it:Progetto:WikiAfrica/Istituzioni/lettera27 - case study in English) initiated WikiAfrica in 2006 and Share Your Knowledge in 2011-2012. Partnerships and institutions involved In the frame of Share Your Knowledge: Creative Commons and Wikipedia for Cultural Institutions a series of institutions have been involved to release content related to Africa and contribute to WikiAfrica. Asinitas; in 2007 and 2008 staff members of Asinitas contributed to articles on Wikipedia related to migrants, borders and education. Africa e Mediterraneo and Associazione Cherimus have expressed support to WikiAfrica/Share Your Knowledge. Events Support to the African participation to the Festivalettruatura in Mantua and organization of events promoted directly by lettera27 Foundation within the program of Festivaletturatura (since 2007).
