Wiki-unknown
A wiki/encyclopaedia of the unknown, the unsolved, the uncalculated, of unproved assumptions, of incurable/diseases of unknown cause, etc etc.
The idea being to create a body of the knowledge humanity does NOT have yet. A document of the knowledge we are looking for.
Presently it tends to be experts in their fields who know where the gaps in our knowledge lie. Non-experts assume someone does know the thing, and can be unaware that a problem exists to be solved.
This Wiki would give experts a forum to describe what is beyond the boundaries of their expertise. It would provide an incredible resource for young scientists, historians, maverick problem solvers, people outside academia and worldwide, to tackle worthwhile research projects and tempt to solve humanity's problems. Examples would be missing history (most of Shakespeare's life), most skin diseases (e.g. lichen plans) and a lot more. I don't know how to populate this Wiki!
