International Museum Day 2022

In commemorating the International Museum Day 2022, the Wikimedia User Group Nigeria partnered with the National Commission for Museums and Monuments to create Wikidata items for some of the museums and monuments in Nigeria. There were online events to train participants and in-person events to create content. The physical event was held at the Nigerian National Museum. More than 20 community members attended the events including the management staff members of the museum. The Museum donated three (3) objects for the top winners of the content creation drive. A total of 67 Wikidata items were created. Although a total of 99 editors registered to participate.
