Public relations

Get support with the publicity and promotion of community events. The German-language Wikimedia organizations help you to deal with the press, while making available their communication channels.

Offer

Press and public relations

The German-language Wikimedia organizations offer volunteers their support with the press. After an inquiry is made at the Wikimedia organizations, you will be contacted by the responsible person. Whether you’re looking for tips and tricks for dealing with the press or formulating and issuing press releases, the Wikimedia organization in your country will stand at your side.

Advertising and promotion

The Wikimedia organizations help to raise awareness about the community events you have organized or helped to organize. It is possible, for instance, to draw attention to these projects through the communication channels of the Wikimedia organization such as blogs, Twitter, or Facebook. Ads can likewise be placed in city magazines and the like. Here, too, you can receive individual advice.

Flyers, posters and graphic design

The Wikipedia organizations can also help if information custom materials like flyers, posters, and similar display items seem appropriate. Depending on the need and capacity, desired graphics can be created or, if necessary, commissioned externally (see also: Information material and giveaways).
