Molsheimer

Vandalism and beginning cross-wiki stalking. In his second edit at Commons this new account presents himself as an experienced user. He pings me on another user's talk page and tries to slam me with a post that refers to some categorization stuff that a new user wouldn't understand. Then there was an abusive post at my french talk page. Another edit at Wikidata was simply vulgar, but not related to anybody. So there's three abusive edits out of a total of four. I don't know where I got this new "friend" from, and I would be grateful if you were able to check who's hiding behind this mask and stop him before he gets even more nasty. --Sitacuisses (talk) 22:22, 9 April 2017 (UTC)

The Wikidata edit was fine, and it looks like the one Commons edit was fine as well. I don't think we can do anything about this yet. Do you have any idea who this might be (past accounts, etc)? – Ajraddatz (talk) 22:28, 9 April 2017 (UTC)
The Wikidata edit wasn't fine, see history. It was inappropriately profane language. My first suspicion is related to several rather new accounts that edit at de:Luftangriff auf den Militärflugplatz asch-Schuʿairat, which is a political honeypot. One of them, Stanislaus der Lausige [stalktoy] – [cross-wiki edits] insulted me just yesterday at my de.wp talk page. While Molsheimer's post was made at a Swiss user's Commons talk page, Stanislaus's edit history shows a considerable focus on Switzerland as well. --Sitacuisses (talk) 22:46, 9 April 2017 (UTC)
After I reported Stanislaus_der_Lausige at the de.wp vandalism page (I wasn't the only one), he posted an excuse at my talk page, which helped saving him from sanctions. But after the vandalism report was closed, he continued slamming me at his own talk page (upper part). This is just another detail that points towards someone who holds a grudge against me. --Sitacuisses (talk) 23:56, 9 April 2017 (UTC)

IP created vandalism page on chy.wp, a Wikipedia with no current admins. —Mikemoral♪♫ 02:22, 27 April 2017 (UTC)

I've deleted the page. No need to take another action for now. Matiia (talk) 02:24, 27 April 2017 (UTC)

Turkisk Wikipedia might be vulnerable

I'm not sure this is the correct place to report this, but TurkeyBlocks has reported that Wikipedia is now blocked in Turkey. While this is bad for many reasons, it does also mean that most local users & sysops probably don't have access to the site right now, which leaves it vulnerable to vandalism from non-Turkish users. Might be worth keeping an eye on it. InsaneHacker (talk) 11:27, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
