Students from VVIT WikiConnect participated in the second Project Tiger 2.0 offline event. The aim of the event is to create articles on Telugu Wikipedia from the list provided by Google which were the most searched topics online by Telugu users. 2 hours was dedicated to explaining the participants about Wikipedia, projects of Wikimedia Foundation, editing in Telugu Wikipedia, translation tools and guidelines.

The event started at 11 AM on 7 December 2019 and ended after 24 hours i.e, 11 AM on 8 December 2019. By the end of the event, a total of 37 editors created 171 articles and submitted them to the Project Tiger fountain tool.

Metrics of the edit-a-thon

A total of 37 editors created 171 articles and submitted them to the Project Tiger fountain tool. Around 2.51 Mega bytes of data was added. At the end of the month User:Shaikjaffarshariff and User:Lakshmi Narasimha Reddy Jonnala were among top three contributors of Telugu Wikipedia community.
