"Sanitizing or sandboxing JavaScript to the point of being safe is not an easy task" - it's actually pretty easy, you just have to embed it as a cross-domain iframe. There is even a standard (oEmbed) doing it in a way that allows other websites to use it. (The related task is T27854.) --Tgr (WMF) (talk) 10:30, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
