Remarks edit

My native tongue is Dutch and on forehand I apologize for my imperfect use of the English language. I have read this interesting essay and should digest this for a while. For the moment I only have two small comments, one of these concerns an ordinary language issue.

  1. The word 'lede' is not in my English-Dutch dictionary, nor in my Oxford spelling dictionary. My English is far from perfect but not disastrous and I may be wrong but nevertheless I wonder: does the word 'lede' exist? Should the word 'lead' or maybe 'introduction' not be used?
  2. In my opinion you infringe one of your 'own' rules: verifiability. You refer to Day, 1994. I suppose you know what is meant with this reference but most of your readers will not know this: completeness of references is basic!

I consider this a very usefull essay and I am curious about the additions still to come. Tom Meijer 11:30, 6 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
