Requesting 2FA

Hi, I'm replying to your advice in the help page for login attemps. I would like to have the Two-Factor autentication since from 11 days someone has tried about 20 times to log in with my account. Thank you if you can do this for me. User:FrankCesco26

@FrankCesco26: Welcome to Meta-Wiki. I've enabled 2FA for your account. Please read Help:Two-factor authentication carefully and store safely your scratch codes. Regards, —MarcoAurelio (talk) 20:22, 5 September 2017 (UTC)

Give us your feedback about some new features for the Flow:Extension

Hi MarcoAurelio,

Since you discussed about the Flow:Extension, I imagine you are using the Flow extension on your wiki.

To us, Flow discussion boards are very powerful. However, they can only be used on the discussion page of a specific page. This doesn't encourage collaboration because users usually visit the pages they watch and some discussions remains unanswered for days...

We believe a special page that gather all the discussions of the wiki will improve collaboration between users.

In the meantime, discussions boards are displayed in a separate tab. This can be confusing to newcomers. If the discussion boards were transcluded under the wiki page itself, it'd look like what users are used to see on other sites (like comments on a blog).

As Mediawiki developers, our team have apply for this Grant to develop such features.

If you think this project should be selected for a Project Grant, please add your name and rationale for endorsing at the bottom of this page : https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:Project/ClemFlip/Wikifab/Various_types_of_transclusions_of_Flow_discussion_boards

Of course, other constructive feedback is welcome.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Thank you for your kind message. Unfortunately I cannot support Flow/Structured Discussions in any way. My experience has been negative and I even requested, and the community agreed, to have it removed from this Meta-Wiki. Best regards, —MarcoAurelio (talk) 11:02, 17 September 2017 (UTC)

Pashto Wikivoyage

Dear Bloch khan. The language committee will now follow-up on your request and will contact you or leave comments on the request page you made in case there's anything left to do. I am not a member of said committee so I cannot really tell how'll the process develop now, but it can take some time until the project is created. Abd stalking wikipedia users

Abd has created a hit-piece here [19] that attacks AngloPyramidologist and other users. The hit-piece Abd has created contains libellous information, accusing users of 'illegal practices', he also accuses a Wikipedia user of 'impersonation' but has no technical evidence to prove that allegation, yet he presents his opinions as factual. The page is being used as a hit-piece as Abd has had a personal war with this the Wikipedia user. He also claims dangerous things that he knows the real life identities of Wikipedia editors. Abd was warned on Wikiversity for doxing several Wikipedia users [20].. This is not acceptable 'study'. It is harassment and slander fuelled by Abd's hatred. Can you delete it? Wikimedia should not be holding misinformation or personal grudges. From a tower (talk) 00:31, 30 September 2017 (UTC)

See an implemented global lock request. The comment above is from an acknowledged puppet master, claiming many socks, see this on my User talk page, where he explains why he "had to" create impersonation socks. This is an extremely disruptive long-term abuser, and careful documentation of the behavior is important to allow more efficient detection, to prevent further damage. The user page complained about is a draft, not yet asserted as factual, it may contain errors. This affair is being handled by Ruslik0, Vituzzu, and Tegel already, though, I'm sure, more eyes on deck could help. Thanks, and sorry for the disruption. --Abd (talk) 02:58, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
Hello: I can see that this is being handled already so if you allow me I'd prefer to leave those with knowledge on the issue to continue managing it as they already know what's going on there. Best regards, —MarcoAurelio (talk) 14:10, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
