A postcard, and a good causeEdit
Hi, I hope you have received the postcard from Moldova! If yes, you noticed that the stamp depicts four people in front of a flying red helicopter. The stamp commemorates the four brave woman and men who lost their lives while on their duty saving other lives. I come to you with the humble request to translate the article about the disaster in your preferred language. Thank you very much for your help, and thanks again for your CEE Women contribution. Yours, Gikü (talk) 11:03, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
Hi there! Thank you so much for your postcard and encouraging words. I will work the upcoming week in translating the articles in Albanian Wikipedia as well. Thank you again for the suggestions and do not hesitate to reach me for other women's biographies. --Kristina Millona (talk) 11:50, 11 August 2018 (UTC)

I work with the Hilde Holger Archive in London, she studied under Bodenwieser in Vienna. I am keen to know your connection to Bodenwieser, did you translate her page in Albanian just out of interest or do you have a personal connection to her? I would be gratefully to hear your thoughts on her and the dance form she promoted,
Invitation to our panel at the CEE meetingEdit
my name is Claudia - we met briefly in Stockholm after the LGTBQ+ meeting - my chapter will host the Queering Wikipedia Conference in May in Austria. I saw you on the participants list of the CEE meeting and wanted to ask whether you would like to join our panel on diversity and inclusion on Friday afternoon at the CEE meeting.
I think you could contribute a lot to the discussion! Looking forward to hearing from you and häppy to answer any questions regarding the panel.
Cheers --CDG (WMAT staff) (talk) 10:15, 8 October 2019 (UTC)

The Wikimedia LGBTQ+ User Group is holding online working days in May. If you’re an active Wikimedian, editing on LGBTQ+ issues or if you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, come help us set goals, develop our organisation and structures, consider how to respond to issues faced by Queer editors, and plan for the next 12 months.
We will be meeting online for 3 half-days, 14–16 May at 1400–1730 UTC. While our working language is English, we are looking to accommodate users who would prefer to participate in other languages, including translation facilities.
More information, and registration details, at QW2021.--Wikimedia LGBT+ User Group 15:44, 24 April 2021 (UTC)

Over the next 2 weeks, we want to invite Whose Knowledge? User Group members to a community conversation about the upcoming Board of Trustees election. We’re also testing these drop-ins as a great way to be in touch, and establish periodic check-ins with our community.
There will be 2 informal drop-in sessions on different days and times. Please come to the session that works best for you:
- Drop-in 1: Thursday, July 7, 2022 - 12pm UTC
- Drop-in 2: Monday, July 11, 2022 - 6pm UTC
To learn more, visit the event page. If you can't join us, but you are interested in the conversation, we’d be more than happy to hear from you on our Talk page!
Just a gentle disclaimer: You are getting this message because you have signed up as a member of Whose Knowledge? User Group. We will send invitations like this from time to time, but we promise not to burden your Talk page. Feel free to unsubscribe from the distribution list.

Queer History in the Digital: We are here, we are queer - where is our historyEdit
I hope you are doing well. My name is Nevena Rudinac, and I work as a Diversity Program Manager at Wikimedia Serbia. Since EuroPride is in Belgrade this year on the occasion of this event my colleague Bojan and I are organizing an international edit-a-thon Wiki Loves EuroPride. As a part of this event Wikimedia Serbia and Wikimedia Deutschland are organizing a panel discussion titled: Queer History in the Digital: We are here, we are queer - where is our history. The discussion will be focused on the questions such as how can we together document Queer history online, how can we make it more accessible, what problems can we come across while doing so, and what are the best tactics we can use when we are faced with resistance and risks. We wanted to ask you if would you like to take part in this event and share your experience? If you are interested, you can contact me at the email: email@example.com. Thanks in advance. :) Nevena Rudinac (talk) 10:15, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
