oauth app

Hi there. Thanks for approving my Oauth app. But how do I change the callback URL? I thought I would e able to do that once it's approved, but it seems that I can't. Computer Fizz (talk) 06:43, 14 February 2020 (UTC)

@Computer Fizz: The only things about a MediaWiki OAuth consumer grant that can be changed after approval are the IP range and consumer secret. When requesting a grant you can select the 'Allow consumer to specify a callback in requests and use "callback" URL above as a required prefix.' option if desired. This will allow you some control over the callback URL right hand side following a required prefix. --BDavis (WMF) (talk) 14:45, 14 February 2020 (UTC)

I really do not like that system at all. There should always be a way to change stuff like that, especially when it's already been around for months, approved and everything with too much hassle to recreate. In this particular case, I was able to redirect my callback URL to my new URL, but this feature should still be added for other people. Computer Fizz (talk) 23:03, 14 February 2020 (UTC)

@Computer Fizz: I am not now nor have I ever been the Product Manager or an official maintainer of the MediaWiki OAuth software. Page pile tool hasn't been working for a while

I'm reffering to this one. I've tried to use it from two different computers but always get this "Not Found" page. Is it just me or is this an ongoing issues that hasn't been resolved for a while? Gomdoli4696, your mw:Developer account needs to be attached on wikitech: so that you can use wikitech:Special:PasswordReset to change your lost password (phab:T174469). I ran the maintenance script for this and forced attachment of the account [1]. You should be able to use the normal MediaWiki password reset mechanism now. --BDavis (WMF) (talk) 16:39, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
