This page is about a small initiative called adopt a wiki-intern.[1]
We have some resources that can be allocated in boosting something (a translation?).
If you think our priorities are stupid and you have better priorities for our interns, welcome aboard! Propose something in the table below in #Work.
What edit
This small initiative tries to:
- collect some questionable "high priority edits" (translations mostly)
- adopt some interns
- do a minimum of Wikimedian training
- allocate interns on edits
Wait. What? edit
In other words. For some reason in the world there are people paid to do "internships" or whatever but at some point they run out of things to do. That's the point! Do you see this unused paid resource? Here we come. Here we adopt this person, we explain how to make some repetitive and useful contributions on Wikimedia projects (like a translation) and... ta-dah! We have someone working on something useful. Then a mentor reviews their work and that's all.
