#1lib1ref adding references is good, and there are other tasks librarians can do.
Tasks not requiring a CAPTCHA
edit- #wpwp adding images
- using Category:No local image but image on Wikidata (open the wikidata link on left hand menu in new tab, copy and paste the image there in the infobox)
- expanding bibliographies
- search for your author on https://www.worldcat.org/
- paste isbn numbers in bibliography section of article {{ISBN|978-1-4133-0454-1}} and {{OCLC|22239204}} (change to the appropriate numbers)
- adding talkpages
- you can make a query of pages lacking talk pages (most are lists)
- https://quarry.wmflabs.org/query/43591 (make a new query pasting the code in)
Tasks requiring a CAPTCHA
edit- #1lib1ref
- using citation hunt https://citationhunt.toolforge.org/en?id=c6b7760f (this can lead to a lot of locked pages)
- look at the project you are interested, and add references to stub articles. i.e. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Stub-Class_Public_Art_articles
- if you have a good off-line reference, sprinkle references around where appropriate.
- adding finding aids
- if you have a good finding aid, or oral history page, or authors papers page, you can add them to external links.
