For reference, my general steward criteria are as follows:

• Fluent in non-English language(s) [non-Western languages are a plus].
• Several months of experience with checkuser and/or (preferably "and") oversight.
• Experience dealing with cross-wiki issues

While meeting one criteria exceptionally well might make up for not meeting another (i.e. being fluent in S.E. Asian languages might compensate for no CU experience), I will generally oppose anyone who does not meet at least 2 out of 3 of these criteria. I also reserve the right to oppose for other reasons not covered above.
