WikiArabia 2021 Algeria, the fifth Arab conference, will be organized virtually by a group of volunteers. The 2021 edition was originally announced to be an event in person, scheduled to be held in Algiers, Algeria, organized by the Algerian User Group. This was a postponement of Wiki Arabia for Algeria cause of the Corona pandemic. It was originally scheduled during April 2021. In February 2021, it was announced that it will be organized 2021 virtually. Inside Algerian user group, we've always considered personal meeting to be the most effective means of communication. We believe that virtual events will not replace face-to-face meetings. However, we also believe that the current health crisis should not prevent members of the Arab Wikimedia community from meeting, communicating and exchanging knowledge.
