Privacy Engineer, Wikimedia Foundation

About me

I am an optimist problem solver involved in projects with social impact in Indonesia. Living currently in Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire), I was lucky enough to co-found two ventures providing media and technology services.

Since 2008 as African Hope, I have been editing Wikipedia, in French mainly, as well as its sister projects such as Commons, where my bot gives a helping hand from time to time. Alongside my volunteer editing, I was involved in the growth of the Wikimedia Community in Côte d’Ivoire.

My work

Within the Security team, my efforts aim at enabling the dissemination of free knowledge while respecting our users' privacy. This involves conducting privacy audits, implementing Privacy by Design across the Foundation, and building technical solutions to help mitigate privacy vulnerabilities.

Previously, I served as a Trust & Safety Specialist, and a Strategy Coordinator for the French-speaking communities.
