Hello, jury member(s)! Hope you are doing well. An important issue has recently come to our notice. One participant complained that he submitted an article but it was not accepted due to some errors. Later, he corrected it and informed the local jury members but they refused to accept it. The international team's response to this is: "If an article is not accepted due to errors, send a message to the user concerned stating those errors and accept it after correction. We always want to create a friendly environment for newcomers to the contest and it is certain that newcomers will not create perfect articles on the first try." Everyone is requested to follow this gentle principle.

Dear jury members, I hope you're doing well. The following are the guidelines set by the international team for reviewing articles. You are kindly requested to follow these .....

• Article size must be at least 3000 bytes and 300 words
• The content of the article must be related to women, feminism and LGBTQ
• The article must be newly created between 1 - 30 September, 2021. Do not accept any extended articles.**
• Check if the article is linked to the Wikidata item. If applicable, do the work on your own initiative.
• There should be no copyright violations and notability issues and article should have proper references as per Wikipedia policies.

Good morning! Hope everybody on this site also had a great day. I would like to inform you that our contest has started. Thank you for coming forward to run the whole contest smoothly. But still some things need to be verified. Kindly check that....

• … the fountain tool is working properly so that participants do not have problems submitting articles.
• … all the links and menus on the project page(s) are working properly so that participants are not confused by the wrong hyperlinks.
• …you have created a list of articles or similar suggestions to make it easier for participants to select articles.
• …global and local prises have been properly announced on the project's landing page.

There's more you can do,

• You can leave messages in your community Village Pump or equivalent and at various discussion/talk pages related to the project.
• With the help of local administrator you can provide site notice on your wiki for one month.
• You can send a message inviting potential participants or regular editors to participate in the contest.

Wiki Loves Women South Asia is back with the 2021 edition. Join us to minify gender gaps and enrich Wikipedia with more diversity. Happening from 1 September - 30 September, Wiki Loves Women South Asia welcomes the articles created on gender gap theme. This year we will focus on women's empowerment and gender discrimination related topics.

We are proud to announce and invite you and your community to participate in the competition. You can learn more about the scope and the prizes at the project page.

• Guidelines for Organizer –
  • Set-up an Wikipedia event page on a local level within your language community.
  • Translate the rules into your language, and maybe slightly adjust the rules if needed.
  • As organizers, you need to call a few Wikipedians to join you as local organizers/jury members (Up to 2) by yourselves. You can also work as jury members if you want. (Read full guidelines!)
• Guidelines for Participants –
  • Find the language edition of Wikipedia you would like to edit, if they are participating.
  • You have to be registered on Wikipedia to enter the contest. Register for Wikipedia if you have not done so.
  • Read the rules listed below. It is really important that you follow the rules, otherwise your effort will be wasted.
  • Choose articles about themes and topics related to Asia, but not from your native country, and start creating articles.
  • Participants have to submit their contributions through the Fountain tool. (Read full guidelines!)
• Rules of the contest –
  • The expanded or new article should have minimum 3000 bytes and 300 words.
  • The article should not be machine translated.
  • The article should be expanded or created between 1 September and 30 September.
  • The article should be within theme festivals and ceremonies of love, women, LGBTQ, feminism and gender.
  • There should be no copyright violations and notability issues and article should have proper references as per Wikipedia policies. (Read full guidelines!)
