Please read this page before sending email to me!

1. If you are mailing to request unblock, don't do that. I will not unblock you if you do not follow local process. Your continuing email for unblocking will result in block modify, preventing you from sending an email.
   • If you send emails on this topic, you grant the CC-0 license on your email text, and I will publish the email (including your email address but striking out my email address).
2. If your text does not contain private matters, personal matters, access restricted information, post it on my user talk page. I will not respond when you can use talk pages for your topic.
3. I do not read, consider or reply to Gmail Confidential Mode or ProtonMail "Encrypt to outside" feature. It is dependent on the third party not to manipulate the data, unsearchable, ephemeral thus unsuitable for record-keeping purposes. As a Steward/Administrator/Oversighter, I must be ready to provide my reasonings of my actions to anyone (including Ombudsman) upon request; this is impossible when the evidence self-destructs or becomes link rot.
4. Please do not remove (Wikiname) email from user "(Your username here)" subject line which will trigger email filter - routing your email to correct inbox - and append the descriptive title after the line, so it looks like: Meta email from user "(Your username here)": (TITLE). Since there is no way to split the email address for wikimail destination and notification destination, my mail server is responsible for catching wikimails to wikimail inbox using some complex settings, and subject is one of the method for recognizing wikimails. If you ignore this, you should not expect a reply.
5. If you just want fast reply, user talk page is enough. I receive real-time notification (for kowiki, enwiki, meta, commons, kowikinews) which is faster than email.
6. There is no guarantee that your mail will be replied.
7. Please note: I do store your wikimail indefinitely, and there is no "right to be forgotten" in my inbox. GDPR is a law in the countries far away from my home - almost opposite side of the earth. It's not my law. (PS: GDPR does not apply to "natural person in the course of a purely personal or household activity". My activity on Wikimedia is a hobby, and thus a purely personal activity.)
8. As a sanity check (that you have read this page), please put "Geronimo" in the email text, anywhere is fine. You just need to put it in Wikimail interface - once I reply, it won't be subject to the filtering.

If you fail to follow this rule, your mail will be automatically sent to Trash. I may or may not review the Trash folder.

3. Gmail 비밀 모드, ProtonMail "Encrypt to outside" 기능을 사용한 이메일을 읽지도, 읽은 내용을 고려하지도, 답장하지도 않습니다. 제3자가 메일 내용을 조작하지 않았음을 증명할 수 없으며 검색할 수도 없고 유효 기간이 존재하므로 기록 보존 목적으로 부적합하기 때문입니다. 특정 기간 이후에 사라지는 메일을 가지고는 사무장/기록보호자/관리자로써 누군가가 제가 왜 무슨 행위를 했는지 설명할 책임을 다할 수 없기 때문이기도 합니다. 암호화가 필요한 경우, 이 문서의 암호화 절차를 따라 주세요.
4. 위키 이메일을 별도로 분류하는 필터를 작동시키는 (Wikiname) email from user "(Your username here)" 부분을 삭제하지 말아 주세요. 이메일 제목을 기본 제목 뒤에 붙여서, 제목이 Meta email from user "(Your username here)": 제목 형식이 되도록 해 주세요.
5. 빠른 답장을 원한다면, 사용자토론에 글을 남기는 것으로 충분합니다. 한국어 위키백과, 영어 위키백과, 한국어 위키뉴스, 메타, 공용의 토론 문서에 새 메시지를 남기면 이메일보다 빠른 실시간 토론 알림이 뜹니다.
6. 모든 메일에 대해 답장을 하진 않습니다.
7. 보내시는 이메일은 영구히 보존된다는 점을 참고해 주세요. "잊혀질 권리" 같은 것은 제 받은편지함에는 없습니다. GDPR은 지구 반대편 몇 개 국가에서나 법이지, 제 거주지의 법률은 아닙니다.
8. 이 문서를 읽었다는 의미에서, 첫 메일에 "Geronimo" 단어를 이메일 본문 어디든 상관 없으니 넣어 주세요. 답장에는 넣을 필요 없습니다.

위 규칙을 지키지 않는 이메일은 자동으로 휴지통으로 이동됩니다. 휴지통을 검토할 수도, 검토하지 않을 수도 있습니다.
