My name is Obed Makolo, and I am excited to apply for the Universal Code of Conduct (U4U). As a passionate Wikimedia editor since 2022, I have been dedicated to contributing to various projects in Wikimedia Igbo and Igala. My passion for language and cultural preservation drives me to actively engage in editing and promoting content in these languages.

As a Wikimedia editor, I have made significant contributions to the Igbo and Igala languages, including creating and editing articles, translating content, and participating in project discussions. My experience as a project organizer and member of the communication committee in Igbo Wikimedia has equipped me with the skills to effectively coordinate projects, facilitate communication, and build community engagement.

I am eager to apply for U4U because I believe in the importance of a universal code of conduct that promotes inclusivity, diversity, and respect for all users.
