UNESCO Wiki4Women Edit-a-thon (India)
On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2020, UNESCO New Delhi organized #WIKI4WOMEN edit-a-thon in collaboration with Wikimedians of India, aiming at promoting better representation of women in the digital sphere through the development of women profiles on Wikipedia. Last year’s campaign helped to create/expand/translate 58 Wikipedia articles related to women who play important roles in Education, Culture, the Sciences, Culture and Communications.
