Tennessee Wikimedians User Group

Objectives

Our goal is to bring together Wikimedia editors and volunteers from across the state of Tennessee to advance the ends of Wikimedia projects.

Activities

We regularly sponsor edit-a-thons and other meetups at Vanderbilt University, Nashville Public Library, Tennessee State University, among others.

History

Many productive editors have contributed to Wikipedia from Middle Tennessee. A Nashville-area meetup started in 2009. More recently, we've been holding meetups for GLAM Wiki Initiatives at regional libraries and universities.
