There is an internationalization issue here: {{WMF elections candidate/2021}} parameter values have been marked for translation by Felipe da Fonseca. Since the template provides for unknown parameter (displaying them), this has not been detected as a bug, but this has overriden all translations from {{WMF elections translations}}.
Should we revert to use only {{WMF elections translations}} even if translations are much older? I take the liberty of pinging Tacsipacsi to have his opinion.
