Template A/B testing/Results/Example 1

This user registered an account in January of 2010 and received a template warning message (for changing some British English spelling to American English in an article) almost immediately after starting to edit.

Britannic124 found their niche in creating redirects, such as Fuzzy Pinyin to Pinyin input method#Fuzzy Pinyin and Sediment deposition to Deposition (geology). They received the Huggle 3 test warning (personal and no directives) when they tried to redirect the page on Hi'iaka, a moon of the planet Haumea, to the spelling of the Hawaiian goddess for which the moon was named. Specifically, Britannic124 was warned for deleting a large amount of text without leaving an edit summary, and they came to the Huggler to talk about the revert.

Not only was good contact established between these two editors, but they also continued to interact positively: the user got help from the Huggler with merging the two pages on Murata Jukō, the cultural historian who founded the study of the Japanese tea ceremony. The user also reported a vandal to the Huggler, adding, "I didn't want to get involved with warning them and stuff." Britannic124 is still editing regularly as of March 2012.
