Template:List subpages/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:List subpages.
It contains usage information, categories, and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This template lists all pages in a given namespace and prefix (User:Pathoschild is used on this page as an example). All parameters are optional, and default to the current page name, namespace, and corresponding talk space. If a different content namespace is provided but not a talk namespace, it will (accurately) guess it by appending " talk".

This template lists all pages in a given namespace and prefix.

Template parameters
Parameter		Description	Type	Status
prefix	`1`	The prefix to list pages with, without namespace (e.g. “Pathoschild” to list pages beginning with “User:Pathoschild” and “User talk:Pathoschild”), by default the current page name without namespace	Line	optional
