This template is used for asking details about a new language edition approved by the language committee. Use this:

Additional notes

• "newlanguage" is whether it is a completely new language for Wikimedia (i.e. there is not yet a project in this language), usually when creating a new Wikipedia.
• "langname" is only needed when "newlanguage" is "yes"

Optional:

• "url" to override the default site URL
• "interfacelang" if it is different from the subdomain

Default project timezone	{{{timezone}}}	"Continent/City", e.g. "Europe/Brussels" or "America/Mexico City" (see list of valid timezones)
Language name	{{{langname}}}	Language name in your language. This will appear in the language list on Special:Preferences, in the interwiki sidebar on other wikis, ...
Enable uploads	(optional)	Files should be uploaded to Commons, but if you want, you can enable local file uploading. Notes: (1) files on Commons can be used on all wikis; (2) this setting can be changed afterwards; (3) uploading fair-use images is not allowed on Commons (more info); (4) localisation to your language may be insufficient on Commons
Additional namespaces	(optional)	For example for a Wikisource which would need "Page", "Page talk", "Index", "Index talk"
Additional settings	(optional)	Anything else that should be set
