This template computes the Gregorian serial day. This is the day number according to the proleptic Gregorian calendar, with 1-1-1 as number 1. It works for the years 111-9999. The input is a single parameter 1 in any php date format.

Help:Demo of function time shows that the results are the same as those of Template:Gsd.
