Wikimedia Statistics can be difficult to interpret. What is your impression, how many steady contributors do you have?

Are your contributors mostly native speakers?
- No. There are very few native speakers of Hawaiian remaining, and all are elderly. But a new generation of speakers is being raised; most will be bilingual in Hawaiian and English. Is there a language institution for your language, like an Academy, or a club of people interested in your language? Do you have contact with them?
- As far as I know, only two educational institutions in Hawaiʻi, Kamehameha Schools and the University of Hawaiʻi, offer complete courses in Hawaiian. Kamehameha students may enroll in up to five years of study, while UH offers a master's program. Who (else) supports you?
What does the public outreach for your edition look like? Do you have fliers, give lectures, training etc.?

  - I have made some efforts on the English Wikipedia (via WikiProject Hawaii) to invite users and bring interest to the Hawaiian Wikipedia, although not much has resulted, since speakers likely have little knowledge of this Wikipedia. - There is little feedback, let alone any viewership.

Does your edition concentrate on certain topics, like your region and language, or Latin Wikipedia on Roman history and Christianity?

Did your edition enjoy text donations, for example from older encyclopedias?

Is there a generally accepted norm about your language (spelling, dictionary, pronunciation)?
- Yes. haw:Nā lula kupela are guidelines regarding standardized spelling as proposed by ʻAhahui ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi in the 1970s. The standard Hawaiian dictionaries are Hawaiian Dictionary by Pukui and Elbert and Māmaka Kaiao. Some issues arise with using foreign letters, but in general, we try to use standard Hawaiian spelling and stick to the translations the dictionaries provide. —Kal ^(talk) 08:44, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
How do you deal with different spellings, dialects etc. (like B.E. lift and A.E. elevator)?
