Project page for the 2-day Edit-a-thon event which was conducted with a focus on improvement of articles. This page is being updated periodically on the progress of outcome.

Event Details
editNivas from CIS-A2K joined the team as a guest.
Day 1
editThe event was started with welcoming address by user K. Murthy. Aftert this, participants introduced themselves and talked about their relationship with Wikimedia movement.
Team discussed on the strategy to improve articles, which were created through 'Google Translate'. After the discussion, participants started working on improvement of articles. As per the initial estimation, 24 articles have been improved against the target of 44 articles.
8 users were honoured with memento for their significant contributions. Gift distributed to all participants.
Towards the end, Tamil Wikipedians celebrated 21 years of Tamil Wikipedia by a cake-cutting.
Wikimedia activities were discussed during team outing to the nearest park.
Day 2
editGroup photos were taken to register the memorable event.
Team discussed on the strategy to add references to unreferenced articles. After the discussion, participants started working on improvement of articles. As per the initial estimation, references have been added to 2,900 articles against the target of 270 articles.
Towards the end, thank you address was delivered by user சத்திரத்தான் (Pitchaimuthu Mariappan).
