This is a comment on a project idea for the German Wikimedia-Foundation's contest "WissensWert" 2010. The contest language is German, and I would like to use it; see a rough translation into English below, just so you know what this is about.

Hey, prima Idee! Ich finde Zeitleisten, Zeitstrahlen usw. großartig. Eine "ultimative" Zeitleiste im vorgeschlagenen Format halte ich für eine sinnvolle Ergänzung, so wie das ja in der Wikipedia schon bei Regenten aus Königshäusern gemacht worden ist (Vorgänger-Nachfolger); das weiterzuentwickeln wäre schon schön. Bumpy English translation Hey, great idea! I like timelines, timerays etc. very much. I think, an "ultimate" timeline in the suggested format would be a useful addition, like it has been done with ruling royalty in Wikipedia (predecessor-successor); to develop this further would be pretty nice.
