Serial/Continuing Resource Model

Should serials/continuing resources be modelled according to the 4-tier FRBR model of Work-Expression-Manifestation-Item, or treated as separate entities?

Content Types

Work content form types such LITERARY_FORM_TYPE sometimes allow multiple values for a single work. There is already an intersection table to accomodate this in the case of specialized/reference textual content. Need to re-visit UNIMARC field definitions to see which other fields require such treatment.
