Hi User:Mcnabber091, really interesting project! Just 3 short notes:
- you may want to include the w:Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) for sources, they are mining data about... mining. and related stuff. and they want people to use the data.
- "Fischer Weltalmanach 2015" is interesting as a kind of (german) competitor for comparison. Former book, now app and website http://www.weltalmanach.de/ lots of data (more than 300.000 geographic, demographic and politic data and 900 graphs, maps, tables and images) and: data sources, see http://www.weltalmanach.de/glossar/ They have a nice visual presentation. (example)
- mediawiki now has the new mw:Extension:graph, see w:Module:Graph, w:template:GraphChart and w:template:GraphMap and think of the possibilities! :-) --Atlasowa (talk) 17:06, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
