First of all, shouldn't we do meta-wikipedia? Actually I am the one who advocates even meta-discussion in en wikipedia so I don't mind that but I am just wondering. -- Taku 00:53 Feb 26, 2003 (UTC)

Anyway, here is my idea. I object this proposal because:

  • I don't see any advantage of using language other than English. English is the best language to write, edit and read for English-speaking.
  • If you want to uniform the format, you can use bots and you can get just like people edit articles.
  • You have to render syntaxs. Currently, wikipedia has been extremely slow (or only in my environment?). We want to make wikipedia server lightweight not heaviy. A handful of features have been disabled. It is more urget to improve the server rather than introducing new features. -- Taku 01:01 Feb 26, 2003 (UTC)
and what about replacing people with robots ??? That might be a good simplification


This is (at least initially) not intended to be a server-side feature. Instead, the pages would be spidered by a bot, which would pull out the metadata and use it to create indices. The Anome
