Talk:Learning patterns/When staff work with volunteers

Suggestion: make the theme (incl. the title) less about a particular instance, and more directed towards readers and the generalised: How we solve the communication issues which involved staff and volonteers -> How to solve communication issues between staff and volunteers. @Tony1:, I agree this topic is critical so I expanded this learning pattern to include more suggestions about staff and volunteers working together. If you like, please take a look at the results and see if you have anything to add or improve. I'm going to ping a few colleagues to see if they can add more. Perspectives from staff of local organizations are needed to improve this learning pattern! edit

@Claudia.Garad: @Jan Ainali (WMSE): @Kippelboy: @IvanaMadzarevic: @Ravidreams (WMIN): I agree with Tony that this is an important topic, so I expanded this learning pattern a bit. Do you have ideas or examples to add to this learning pattern? Do you know of volunteers you work with who might have good suggestions to add? Thanks for helping! @Varnent: @Bdamokos: @Anders Wennersten: @Djordjes: @Mike Peel: I've expanded this learning pattern, but we need more input from volunteers to make it better. Do you have any ideas to add? Do you know someone else who has thought a lot about this topic and has ideas or examples to share? Winifred Olliff (WMF Program Officer) talk 15:18, 11 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
