you can also request the "account creator" status on your home wiki, it allows you to create more than 6 accounts during the course, I've done that last week, it's an emergency solution, but not suitable for real mass creation :-) . --Charles Andrès (WMCH) 12:18, 14 October 2013 (UTC)

Agreed. I have just compounded the problem by creating How to create an account for a new user because I failed to find either. Let's do a careful merge, and also make sure the resulting page is linked from as many relevant places as possible (such as outreach:Edit-a-thon, WikiSalon, etc. etc.) -Pete F (talk) 00:27, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
