General edit

I don't think voting keep or delete based on how long a user has been established would be a very good idea. Undeath (talk) 03:27, 5 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

There are times when some users have a "momentary lapse of judgement". That can be based on multiple issues, one of which has it's own userbox for it. (describing that the user sometimes makes strange edits due to a mental condition). Just a hint. Undeath (talk) 03:28, 5 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

WP:USERPAGE notes, "The Wikipedia community is generally tolerant and offers fairly wide latitude in applying these guidelines to regular participants. Particularly, community-building activities that are not strictly 'on topic' may be allowed, especially when initiated by committed Wikipedians with good edit histories." This is, perhaps, a classic example of a "descriptive" policy. Obuibo Mbstpo (talk) 14:25, 5 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Interesting view edit

Interested view from Wikipedia:Uphill Battles: "In general, fighting against the majority, and those more widely respected than yourself, is a bad idea." I don't really agree with that; I'm going to change it. If you have something valid to say, then it shouldn't matter who or how many oppose you. After all, we don't vote on Wikipedia.
