Redirect or not? edit

It is conventional to discuss whether a page with content should be effectively deleted by being turned into a redirect. Rogol Domedonfors (talk) 11:07, 24 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

I don't see content, only links and a needless summary from a page which is best referenced directly. You originally claimed this was meant to be a list of trademarks, which is what the target page does. Do you now envision a different goal for this page? --Nemo 11:22, 24 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
I "originally claimed" that this page was a placeholder, pending further work. If you have no need for the content on this page, by all means do not read it. Others, such as myself, may find it useful to have some information about WMF brands and trademarks gathered into one place on Meta. Saying that there is no content and then describing content, whether or not it be needed, seems inconsistent. Imposing your own views without discussion and some form of consensus seems uncollegial. However, while I disagree with your assertions, your reasoning and your way of proceeding, further action on this page would probably be disruptive. People who want this information can probably still find it, just not quite so easily. Rogol Domedonfors (talk) 11:30, 24 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
