(2012-01-06) Discussion regarding merge with Promoting users

I suggest merging both pages and leave this one just as a redirect to the relevant section on the Promoting users page. Granting and removing a bot flag is a kind of a promotion to a different user group. In the past when Special:MakeBot and Special:MakeSysop existed it'd make sense to have different pages but now that we use the unique Special:UserRights page is still needed to have different tutorials for the same task?
