question from a more-than-casual reader edit

May I just ask politely, what is Professor Dumbledore's favorite color? 66.66.133.188 03:39, 21 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

According to this wiki, it is blue. However, seeing as it doesn't state a source, I can't verify it ^_^; Maplestrip (talk) 16:25, 18 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

what's the matter edit

Well.... i don't really see the point with this association?

What is the referring to other sister wikis other than further categorizing the content of the Metawiki-verse into smaller units instead of keeping wikipedia what it was thought to be: an unique encyclopedia that makes full use of all the stuff HTML will allow to add into a "standard encyclopedia" (like links/crossreferences, search options and such)...

all this association can ever achieve is to make it harder for a random user to find the information he might be looking for by cutting the namespace into categorized portions that aren't always interlinked with one another and so will force a random user to twist in order to find his field of interest.

So where's the point with that? --145.254.102.89 17:00, 9 November 2007 (UTC) (not a registered user because of childish stuff like that)Reply

Definition edit

We need a good definition of Transwikism. --  ƒajro @ 15:43, 29 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've got one: making it harder for everybody to find information on any one given topic. But hey, everybody has their opinion. 209.195.102.143 20:04, 27 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Good Idea? edit

I would think transwikism is a good idea if it was implemented with a metawiki search engine. When I go to wikipedia I want to easily find the information I am looking for. If it is spread out through a galaxy of satellite wikis without a good map then I think it would be very frustrating.
