Factionalist? edit

If I am an antifactionalist, am I also a factionalist as a result? 216.126.78.119 03:31, 20 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Pure fantasy edit

This page is pure fantasy. It is human nature to form political factions; it is the way we are wired. It is amusing to imagine a community -- especially your community -- as some noble Jedi High Chamber of studiously impartial really nice guys -- but this is Utopian daydreaming.

The other extreme, where a bare majority bludgeons the minority into conformance, is just as silly. Humans often work well together, despite differences; and this is another way in which political goals are achieved. (And all goals which demand a large number of interested individuals are political.)

The only truly absurd factional position is Extremism. — Xiongtalk* 02:45, 2005 May 13 (UTC)

I really enjoy the pun on content in this article. All is content: we are all happy. All is content: as a wiki, this is what we contribute.

Nonsense? edit

This article, as well as Factionalism, almost read like nonsense to me. What does all this have to do with Wikipedia?
