- It is the Chinese Wikipedia's Village Pump, where you can find the summary of the discussion of 2017 Wikimedia Movement in the Chinese community.
For 16 years, Wikimedians have worked together to build the largest free knowledge resource in human history. During this time, we've grown from a small group of editors to a diverse community of editors, developers, affiliates, readers, donors, and partners. Today, we are more than a group of websites. We have become a movement rooted in values and a powerful vision: A world in which every single human being can freely share in the sum of all knowledge. All of us now have an opportunity to decide where we go from here. We can decide how we make our vision a reality. What will we have achieved 15 years from now? What role do we want to play in the world in 2030? Who will have joined our movement? What work lies ahead of us? These are questions we can answer together. As a movement, we are starting a broad discussion to begin to define Wikimedia's future role in the world and develop a collaborative strategy to fulfill that role. You are warmly invited to join the conversation.
The summary is a group of summary sentences and associated keywords that describe the relevant topic(s). Below is an example.
The first column (after the line number) should be a single sentence. The second column should be a comma-separated list of keywords about that sentence, and so on. Taken together, all the sentences should provide an accurate summary of what was discussed with the specific community.
|Line||Statement (summary sentence)||keywords|
|1||[Example 1: Sentence] Wikimedia stands for a purity of knowledge and facts, untainted by commercial interests or political agendas, and promotes a knowledge culture of balanced information and cited sources.||[Example 1: Keywords] independence, verifiability, facts matter|
|2||[Example 2: Sentence] We should explore new kinds of knowledge spaces, embracing innovation in order to survive and thrive in 2030.||[Example 2: Keywords] innovation, forms of knowledge|
