Reason: I like my username to match my name without any extra letters. Target account registered only in Persian Wikipedia and had insignificant edits in less than 24 hours in 2006. He has not contributed since then and has left Wikipedia permanently.
@WPooya: The target account has valid edits which is a barrier to usurpation. Please choose another username. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 10:34, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
@1997kB: Is it not possible to rename the target account to another name? WPooya (talk) 10:43, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
@WPooya: It is but usurpation practice doesn't allow that. For an account to be usurped it must not have valid mainspace edits. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 10:45, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
@1997kB: Based on Changing username, I think I can usurp usernames that have no significant edits or log actions. How can I usurp this target account name? WPooya (talk) 11:08, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
@WPooya: Yeah you can usurp usernames that don't have significant edits or log entries but in this case Pooya does have significant edits on Persian Wikipedia and that's the problem. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 11:11, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
@1997kB: Is it not possible to change the name of the target account due to not being active in Wikipedia and leaving it entirely for a long time? Please check Courtesy vanishingWPooya (talk) 11:20, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
@1997kB: This user has no user page, only one Talk page in Persian Wikipedia. WPooya (talk) 11:27, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
@WPooya: Courtesy vanishing doesn't apply here as such requests are made by account holders and Pooya never made such request. Yes the account is inactive but we only usurp account if account is inactive and doesn't have any significant mainspace edits or log entries. As this account has significant mainspace edits so it's not eligible for usurpation. I hope this made things clear. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 11:32, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
@1997kB: Thank you for your review of my request and answer my questions. I like my username to match my name without any extra letters, but unfortunately, it is impossible. Wikipedia support for the active user makes him want to be more active. WPooya (talk) 11:54, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
@1997kB: I changed Newname to iPooya. WPooya (talk) 12:13, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
@WPooya: I hope you're aware that i will be capital, so your new name will look like IPooya. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 12:31, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
Reason: (I'd like to change my username because it's the pseudo that I usually use for other purposes, and also one that's the contraction of my first name and my last name and that Wikimedians know me under. I checked with the tool mentioned, Flaubert is free, and yet when I try to change my username with the request form, it says it is not free.)
Reason: Correct spelling of the name, and also more beautiful. It should be noted, my requested username already exists, but due to the name change, it is not available and the system says it is not registered, but it can not be chosen in the usual way. Thanks.
