@Sappho Norge: Sorry but the request is not clear. Do you want to be renamed to "John Peder Larsen"? There is also another request for renaming to JPL below. --Superpes15 (talk) 14:10, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

@IX V MM: Please provide a reason for rename. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 08:41, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
I took this name without thinking about it at the time. You can remember the new name more easily, because it is an ordinary Dutch word. Personally, I also like this name better. Kind regards, IX V MM (talk) 09:34, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
Reason: I would like to have my account renamed as ಮಲ್ನಾಡಾಚ್ ಕೊಂಕ್ಣೊ so that users in my homewiki (gomwiki) can access me easily. It will also make my linguistic and homewiki identity readily identifiable from the username. I didn't know at the time of choosing my username that non English usernames were allowed.
Comment@EditeY: "God tengri" does not exist; are you sure this is the username you want to rename to (note that "_" is interpreted as a space)? If that's the case, you may want to put it under the Simple renames section. Leaderboard (talk) 17:20, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
@Uncitoyen: Can you please confirm if the username is appropriate? I have seen this page so I cannot give an outcome --Superpes15 (talk) 23:21, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
On Turkish Wikipedia, it isn't appropriate to use the names of religious persons and names such as God, Jehovah, Buddha and Allah that these names would be an attack for other people's beliefs. Also I think that usernames that generally only use god names (example:User:Allah, User:God; but such usernames don't exist.) aren't appropriate, according to our local username policy. Tengri means God in old Turkic (especially for Shamanism etc.). There is no attack directly here, but only using two god names together may cause trouble for other users. There is only one example what I can remember. tr:Special:Contributions/Tanrı Generally, as Turkish Wikipedia administrators, we don't block usernames that contain God, Allah etc. especially if they don't attack for other people's religious beliefs. @Vito Genovese:: Doesn't have many examples of such situations that I remember, could you help us? --Uncitoyentalk 05:22, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
Uncitoyen: I recall two further examples. The first one was Tanrilarinfisiltisi 'Whisper of the Gods', which was discussed here. Everyone agreed that it was fine. The second example was "Poseidonakafaatansatir" 'The cleaver that headbutted Poseidon', discussed here. I argued that the ancient Greek religion is still being actively followed by some and it has some official recognition as a minority religion, it could be considered offensive to some, albeit unlikely. Dr. Coal, a fellow admin, did not agree and argued that we should not be too restrictive, so we left it there. In other words, no blocks for either of the two accounts.
As for this particular example, I would similarly argue that there are some people who worship Tengri, which would not have been offensive to me if I were an adherent of this religion but could be so for those who are. But others might disagree with me on this.
Thanks. Yes, usually, such names aren't blocked that they aren't offensive. I have been wondering if this username might be an attack to those who believe in Tengri as said above, but I'm not already sure that username is inapporiate. --Uncitoyentalk 09:53, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
@EditeY: Given the comments above, I think this username will be inappropriate for people who believe in God Tengri, so marking this Not done. If you still wanted to be renamed, please choose another name and file a new request. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 08:47, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
Reason: I created this account ages ago and I created this username because I couldn't find anything else, but I don't really like it now. I'm putting it under here because I can't log in to the "Simple renames" section for some reason.
Reason: A person who was using this username has only 28 edits in the period from 24. November to 16. December 2006 (on Bosnian Wikipedia) and is no longer an active editor. His username was renamed on English Wikipedia previously (on 21. April 2015) and I guess he hasn't been active even before that. I want to usurp his username because he's no longer active, has no user page, and has no significant number of edits and the name is simple. If changing the user name is not possible globally, I'd like to change it just on bs.wiki.
Reason: This is an account that was edited in 2006, and was blocked locally on the Hebrew Wikipedia because the edit was vandalism. I would like to take over this account. Because he's a more correct name for me. Thanks, דגש חזק (talk) 07:47, 9 March 2021 (UTC)
Reason: Hello, I want to change my username because I have used q letter instead of g in the word of "Roaring". I want to correct my mistake. Please change my username and please do not create a permanent log noting my previous name. I have checked the new username by typing https://tr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kullan%C4%B1c%C4%B1:RoaringLion at the address line on browser and it said no user exist. Thank you.
@RoarinqLion:RoaringLion exists globally and you need to wait for 1 month in order to usurp that account. Also unfortunately a record is kept always and we can not stop that, so if are you ok with both of these issues we can proceed to rename, please reply with choice. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 04:51, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
I have an ID change request that you answered. I accept the conditions. Its okay a record is kept always. I'm okay with waiting for 1 month in order to usurp that (RoaringLion) account.
Reason: I'd like my name to be Guedes because it's my last name (instead of an abbreviation of my first name + my last name, as it is now) and it looks like no one named Guedes~(country)wiki has an active account on Wikimedia projects.
@Ryan Trassante: The username "Ryan T" already exists. Before you can usurp it, your account must be "consolidated". You can choose another username now, or you can wait a few months before submitting the same request. Regards. --Superpes15 (talk) 14:20, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

Reason: If we're going to have global account unification, I might as well take advantage of the unicode. I signed up originally under my surname (Power), and 力 is (close enough to) Power in Chinese. The account looks to have one edit on jawiki in 2008.
Reason: Doppleganger account request by/for Power~enwiki. I'm requesting 力 (kanji, pronounced li4 in Putonghua) for my main account, and want to usurp カ (katakana, pronounced "ka") as a doppleganger account to avoid confusion or impersonation. Target account has one edit on jawiki from 2004. (endorsed power~enwiki (talk) 00:45, 21 February 2021 (UTC))
Reason: "medozas" is my pseudonym and has been used for a long time. Yet I have realized to collide with another medozas in social media I do not want to be affiliated with. I would therefore prefer to use a username which identifies me best.
