Not done, DB is in use on en.wiki, having over 5000 edits. It will not be usurped. Should you wish to be renamed, please choose a nick that is not in use; you can file a simple request through Special:GlobalRenameRequest. Savhñ 01:04, 17 May 2016 (UTC)
@ウグイス: Target user has made one edit on jawiki (and it is not vandalism), I recommend picking another username instead, since global renamers don't usurp accounts that have valid edits. Thanks, Pokéfan95 (talk) 10:05, 27 May 2016 (UTC)
Global account "Sasanqua" doesn't exist, global renaming can be done now. Thanks, Pokéfan95 (talk) 12:56, 27 May 2016 (UTC)
Global account SASANQUA does exist, and has a significant amount of contributions, including recent ones. Please choose a different name. Savhñ 22:19, 27 May 2016 (UTC)
@ウグイス: The reason why you need to choose another name is that there is a similar name that exist, which is "SASANQUA". That account has made 200+ edits. Thanks, Pokéfan95 (talk) 00:49, 28 May 2016 (UTC)
I don't think a username change should be enfroced because a POV of a single user, who probably doesn't even know why the user chose his username. Furthermore, it looks like the user hasn't even informed JosFritz about this request. --MGChecker (talk) 21:56, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
No, it is nonsens. I reject it at dewiki. --Itti (talk) 22:48, 2 May 2016 (UTC) bureaucrat at dewiki
Not done Absolutely not. We do not forcibly rename established users. This request clearly crosses that line.—cyberpowerChatHello! 22:55, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
Reason: I used Ishwar previously before global user names. Y'all changed it to Ishwar~commonswiki in 2015. Now that you have global names, it'd be best to connect Ishwar~commonswiki to my main user used in en.wiki which is Ish ishwar. Ishwar~commonswiki (talk) 18:46, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
Just editing from other account to say I agree. Ish ishwar (talk) 18:47, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
A steward/sysadmin will need to handle this one. This goes beyond my scope.—cyberpowerChatHello! 05:20, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
Ok. Do they come by here? Or, do I need post this request somewhere else? Ish ishwar (talk) 21:49, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
@Ish ishwar:, please access this page while logged in to complete the unification of your SUL-account. Once you have done that, your account should be globally unified under "Ish ishwar"Savhñ 11:17, 5 May 2016 (UTC)
@Savh:, my password doesn't seem to work for that account now. Shouldn't the password for commons and en.wiki be the same now? Ish ishwar (talk) 14:55, 5 May 2016 (UTC)
No, that unattached account still possesses the password of the Ishwar~commonswiki account.—cyberpowerChatHello! 15:11, 5 May 2016 (UTC)
Please also try any old pre-SUL password, or otherwise reset the password on commons through your e-mail. Savhñ 16:26, 5 May 2016 (UTC)
@Ish ishwar: Please merge your account; otherwise you can't use the commons account. Savhñ 11:49, 10 May 2016 (UTC)
@Savh:, I can't if the password I'm supposed to be using is the same as my en.wiki account password. I can still login under Ishwar~commonswiki. Ish ishwar (talk) 17:17, 10 May 2016 (UTC)
@Ish ishwar: In principle, it should be the same as your Ishwar~commonswiki password, but only to log in on Commons. Savhñ 17:20, 10 May 2016 (UTC)
@Ish ishwar:, I'm glad you have merged your account. For future reference in other cases, we would appreciate if you could indicate what was causing the issue. Yours, Savhñ 09:55, 16 May 2016 (UTC)
Reason: The user is blocked indefinitely and his edits are not good. Notified on talk page, but this should be quick as for 10 years the account is blocked. --Авенгерс Актион (talk) 05:35, 9 May 2016 (UTC)
Done There was no need to even notify or wait this one out. That account was clearly an unproductive attack only account.
Reason: Requesting usurpation. I use the new username as a nick almost everywhere, and the account currently owning the name, has 0 edits and is 1 year old. If there's something I need to do, please let me know, I haven't tried requesting before, and the instructions page seems to be non-existent.
Reason: Actually, I have used the user name "Nickcheng" for a long time in Chinese Wikipedia. I don't know why I need to change to the new name after the migration? I want to get back my user name. And I checked that the guy who owned this user name for now was banned for some bad behavior. So I think I should get it back.
Done Target account was a vandalism only account.—cyberpowerChatHello! 13:57, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
Reason: I haven't been able to stand using Wikimedia services because after my explaining how an unfortunate and uncontrollable effect of autism is that things that seem out of order drive me crazy I requested my new username auriel.kitsu but instead was given Auriel.kitsu.
I need my local/global username completely in lower case as in auriel.kitsu
@Auriel.kitsu: Due to technical limitations, usernames must always start with an uppercase letter; thus a rename to "auriel.kitsu" is not possible. Sorry. —k6ka🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 13:40, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
Not done Sorry but all usernames start with an uppercase letter. There is nothing we can do here.—cyberpowerChatHello! 13:58, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
Reason: I was notified that I couldn't have a user name with so many repeating letters. I would only like to change my username for the Italian wiki as for my English account, they do not have a rule against this. Thanks.
Seriously? Okay forget it then, I withdraw. Request withdrawnVaselineeeeeeee (talk) 16:43, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
Even if you could, the requested username is already taken. So this request would have been declined anyways.—cyberpowerChatHello! 16:54, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
I knew it was taken in en.wiki, but it wasn't in it.wiki. But now I know you can't change it for only one wiki so it makes sense now that the name could not be taken across all wikis. Vaselineeeeeeee (talk) 19:27, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
Reason: I do not want to change my username, but just to usurp فوران who has no contributions at all. I want to use it as a legitimate sock. My current username is difficult to pronounce for Persian speakers and I want to use "فوران" as my new signature. فوران is the transliteration of my current username. Thank you. 4nn1l2 (talk) 09:05, 27 May 2016 (UTC)
@4nn1l2: Please notify the target user at their home wiki (fawiki). Thanks, Pokéfan95 (talk) 10:00, 27 May 2016 (UTC)
