Requests for global rollback permissions

Global rollback for Dan Koehl

I am active with reverting vandalism on different projects, being admin on 2 projects and rollbacker on another 3 projects, and will for the future next 6 months increase my Wikimedia activity even more at SWMT and #cvn-sw. I believe I am an experienced user of rollback, well aware about the rules, and only using it properly. Dan Koehl (talk) 02:41, 6 December 2015 (UTC)

  •   Oppose I do think everyone leave no doubt that this candidate is a high-trusted user and is used to dealing with the rollback tools, but I couldn't see "heavy use of reverts globally".[1] By the way, in case you didn't know, globally Twinkle is very useful. I'm happy if you re-apply later when you gain more cross-wiki experience by using global Twinkle.--Infinite0694 (Talk) 13:35, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
Thanks yes @Infinite0694:, I have used it with problems, please see PiRSquared17 talk page 1, and PiRSquared17 talk page 2 and Winterus discussion on my talk page. EDIT: I removed Global Twinkle, and now local Twinkle works well again on enwiki, see my reverts on enwp, where you can see my capacity as rollbacker. Dan Koehl (talk) 19:00, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
I see, but I'm not sure you have plenty of experience with x-wiki fighting, (your edits are largely irrelevant to fight vandalism act on GS scope wiki, just creating user page) even after the consideration of the situation you are in. Sorry, --Infinite0694 (Talk) 14:04, 10 December 2015 (UTC)

Requests for global sysop permissions

Global sysop for Wiki13

Hello everyone,

Last december I resigned as global sysop by myself due to issues in my personal life. I took a break from editing Wikimedia in its entirety, not knowing for sure when I would return. In the last few weeks I started to become more active and returning to the things I did before: reverting spam and vandalism where I saw it. I didn't want to request these rights right after my return, because it's never has been or will be about collecting rights. By placing this request here I hope I still have the trust I had before I left.

If there are any questions you still have about me or this request, feel free to ask them and I will try to answer them as soon as possible in a honest matter.

Thank you. Wiki13 talk 22:58, 5 December 2015 (UTC)

Global IP block exempt for GNUtoo

Hi, I use the tor-browser. I'd like to be able to edit with it, once logged into my account of course. I am really thankful that tor users are able to access and read Wikipedia and other Wikimedia related projects without issues. This is important. Thanks a lot. I totally get that anonymous editing is not a desirable feature, especially given the abuse related to paid editing. However I think that registered user should be able to edit trough Tor, especially if their account is old enough and that their contributions are substantial enough to deter people from creating such account too easily (That would result in no way from preventing abuses). I don't know where would the bar would be set if it exist. To facilitate checking: Here are my edits. , --GNUtoo (talk) 23:12, 29 November 2015 (UTC)

Global IP block exempt for Grind24

I sometimes use public wifi connections and I use an an encrypted proxy to secure those connections. Some of the proxy servers are IP blocked/Banned . This account has been made IP block exempt on PTWP,Fr.wikivoyage but it seems that there is also a global IP block that applies. Yesterday I could not access irc cvn-sw without using VPN See dronebl and reported incident 1806144. I am using my vpn in office (which is required for irc to work). thanks, --Grind24 (talk) 10:03, 6 December 2015 (UTC)

Global IP block exempt for ANKAN GHOSH DASTIDER

Hello, I've been blocked globally with the notification: The IP address that you are currently using has been blocked because it is believed to be an open or anonymizing proxy. But I don't use any proxy, maybe this problem occurs due to my Internet Service Provider. However, my account was blocked before but it had never been long and it wasn't a global block also. So I really need this permission to continue my editing. With thanks, --ANKAN GHOSH DASTIDER (talk) 09:27, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
