Please check two more accounts - "Kakammaa" and the IP address - 185.86.150.101. Both these accounts participated in trolling the account "Bonadea".__Chaduvari (talk) 14:56, 7 May 2019 (UTC)

NKOzi@az.wikipedia

I'm asking you to check the IPs because both users already say that they use the same IP address, but they do not live in a same home (for example, they are not brothers), I ask you very much that this is very important for the Azviki. It will be abuse moments during the voting and discussion. For 5 years the deactivated user (NKOzi) has come back to support the Cekli829 in the discussion. We would be glad if we were given extensive information. --Turkmen talk 22:32, 8 May 2019 (UTC)

  Doing... --Wim b 22:52, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
Done Turkmen: 8 May: same IP and useragent for Eks-istifadəçi and NKOzi in this edit and those of NKOzi (which has never changed IP or UA). Cekli829, the previous day (07 May), has the same IP but different OS's version of Eks-istifadəçi and NKOzi. Note: Eks-istifadəçi and Cekli829 in a edit have had practically the same UA except the OS version which was different, but "bit version" of OS, the browser and version coincided (but it is one of the most used browsers in the world). IMHO Eks-istifadəçi and NKOzi, given the few minutes passed between their edits, they could be the same person, for Cekli829 there are no definite evidence. This is my personal opinion, you draw your conclusions based on the type of edit --Wim b 23:32, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
Wim b I am very grateful.--Turkmen talk 23:35, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
Wim b could yo please clarify me SO, OS, US and İMHO?--Turkmen talk 23:42, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
Turkmen, Sure: OS = operative system, SO's is a typo per OS (because in italian is "Sistema Operativo", sorry, my bad), UA = User Agent :) --Wim b 23:46, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
And IMHO = "in my humble opinion". -★- PlyrStar93 Message me. 23:55, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
Wim b and PlyrStar93 thank you. Eldarado please review--Turkmen talk 00:02, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
@Wim b: Could you please clarify that which time Cekli was use the same ip with NKOzi and Eks-istifadəçi? (Please note with UTC+4) Because NKOzi is Cekli289s workmate and they have should use the same ip only at work (till 18:00 (UTC+4)). It's necessary for we can understand that Cekli also use NKOzi and Eks-istifadəçi accounts or not. Thanks in advance.--eldarado 11:03, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
Eldarado: sure:
  • 8 may 2019: NKOzi and Eks-istifadəçi same IP and UA; no edit for Cekli829;
  • 7, 6, 3, 2, 1 may 2019: no edit for NKOzi and Eks-istifadəç but the Cekli829's IP is the same of the 8 may for NKOzi and Eks-istifadəçi.
these days the IP for the three users has always been the same --Wim b 13:46, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
  • @Wim b: -- Over this edit, Eks-istifadəçi (which literally translates to ex-user) chooses to sign as Ex-admin NKOzi. Minutes later, NKOzi logs-in (after about a span of five years) and confirms that the previous edit was indeed by him. So, they could should be the same person. Hello, both my accounts (Eks-istifadəçi and NKOzi). --N KOziTalk 07:33, 10 May 2019 (UTC)

No. I know him in real life. We are colleagues. --N KOziTalk 12:05, 10 May 2019 (UTC)

延妮珍娟琦华 exclusively used an open proxy (OP) while none of the others used the OP, therefore it was not possible to determine the relationship.

Caverdom@commonswiki

enwiki and Commons have their own CU. There is no global CU. You have to exactly specify the project names if you want this CU to run (of course, projects without local CU). Closed. — regards, Revi 08:04, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
@-revi: does this mean that if a user has been blocked for harassing a user on one project, they are free to continue their harassing on another project? Is there no way to deal with that? Alexis Jazz (talk) 08:15, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
I don't know why you are inferring such conclusion: If they edited other project, you can ask for a CU there. In this case I can see some edits on either enwiki or Commons: both have their own CU so this is effectively outside the Stewards jurisdiction. — regards, Revi 09:42, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
If you have read the header of this page,

This page is for requesting CheckUser information on a wiki with no local CheckUsers

— enwiki and commons both have local CUs. It's therefore outside the scope of SRCU. — regards, Revi 10:06, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
Since they're obvious LTA's, just go to SRG to get them locked. SRCU is usually for checking accounts on projects where there are no local CheckUsers. Vermont (talk) 09:52, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
@-revi: Nsmutte's enwiki socks don't have a Commons account attached. Caverdom doesn't have an enwiki account attached. (which, in itself, is kinda suspect) So neither Commons or enwiki would be able to confirm Caverdom is another Nsmutte sock, if I understand correctly. Both have meta accounts though. But if those can't be checked, the user effectively couldn't be stopped. Alexis Jazz (talk) 13:01, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
See the header and you will be able to find the correct location to file a CU request on meta. — regards, Revi 13:03, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
@-revi: I actually did initially arrive at Meta:Requests for CheckUser information, but thought that page was only for abuse on meta. Alexis Jazz (talk) 13:16, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
Meta as a project has its own CU thus Stewards usually (practically never) do not perform CU on Meta. — regards, Revi 13:18, 16 May 2019 (UTC)

Comment @-revi: not disputing the decision to not CU, though noting the local meta effect of Omkaram12 and Cranxi. I think that there is the need for xwiki coordination between stewards and CUs to identify the underlying aspects to insert preventative measures.  — billinghurst sDrewth 10:15, 16 May 2019 (UTC)

I've done some checks as a Meta CU, and there isn't much that can be done in this case. Abuse is coming from multiple ranges without much overlap. – Ajraddatz (talk) 21:12, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
  • Commenting because -revi pointed this to me: Nsmutte socks can be locked/generally are when someone requests. Speaking only to the en.wiki ranges I have seen, there isn't much that can be done technically to prevent it because the collateral damage is too large. Generally, stewards will not assign themselves local CU on projects with CUs, and in my view this is a good thing. We can and do share data through a variety of means, but this also isn't a case that is particularly complex. The LTA announces itself very easily and they are almost always blocked and checked on local projects, and stewards will ordinarily lock. Alexis Jazz, the best thing to do would be to report to SRG, where a steward can run a loginwiki checkuser on the accounts and prevent xwiki disruption through locks. TonyBallioni (talk) 21:24, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
  • @TonyBallioni: Thanks. I thought SRG was only for confirmed cases of socking/abuse, and as I wasn't familiar with Nsmutte I wasn't able to fully confirm it when I created this report. Alexis Jazz (talk) 07:04, 18 May 2019 (UTC)
