Micro-survey style edit

I've created some mockups of potential micro-survey styles. Multiple choice (3) vs. Free-form text. I suspect that the free-form text is more desirable since it allows our participants to dictate how we will refer to them (e.g. "trans-...", "queer", "none"). I suspect that the vast majority of the answers will be trivially detectable as "male" or "female" and that we can simply place the rest in "other" for to achieve parody with the multiple choice (3) version.
